You used to see them on the highway.
On rear windows: a little tree, a rabbit, a duck.
Green. Red. Blue.

Traffic felt a bit kinder because of them.

I sometimes wonder how many children
first saw the world rushing past
through the frame of a small shape like that.

And later became graphic designers.
